Rumour mill is that Rius had one of his GP spec'd SJ's there.... Carbon Hull SJ with 900cc motor............ nothing that is a preproduction model. The GP Class allows for anything as long as it is less than 900cc's

That's the most reasonable explanation. Oh well.

yamaha wouldn't make another 2 stroke again anyway. production could only last 1 year... 2009 is the year 2 stroke pwc's will be gone. if it was 900cc then its a 4 stroke.
