How did you measure temp, from the pissers?

The water was around 50 or so....never felt the pisser as I was riding

If just outer wall you can get welded. Will need to check head surface for flatness.

Ouch, I've seen that happen when running a aftermarket pipe with no girdled head. You have to beat on them a bit but maybe that could be the cause??
Or possibly freeze damage during winter storage?

Sounds like a good enough reasons to get a girdled head now lol in have a Riva one on there now and im.in so .ca not alota nights when it's freezing
