Newb help

So basically over the winter I took my superjet apart to get it painted and on the assembly I upgraded the following things

-h20 waterbox
- msd ignition
- 9/15 hooker impeller
- blowsion steering cable
- jet maniac throttle cable
- replaced all dual cooling lines & gas lines
- added a flow restrict or
- got my bpipe power coated & replaced all gaskets and new coupler

last year without all the upgrades it ran strong this year starts great sounds good just doesn't seem to have any bottom end power I don't know if I need to do anything cause I changed the waterbox. I have both dual cooling lines going into bpipe manifold. Then bottom of bpipe chamber to head other side of head right out pisser . Top of bpipe head tees into flow restrict then into chamber on one side other side right out pisser. The pisser from the head the water felt only warm not hot. I just noticed that one of the dual cooling lines at the pump was only half on.any help would be great thanks.

It could be a myriad of things. You will just have to go back through everything and make sure you didn't miss anything. The first thing I would do is to fix that fitting on the pump. If you loose that fitting while you are on the water you can over heat it Jett quickly. I have basically the same mods you have and I run a single line from the pump and run a Y fitting into the manifold. This is more than enough cooling even here in Florida. Honestly, I would just plug that boss in the pump before it becomes an issue.

Did it sit all winter? Could be a leaking needle and seat, especially with ethanol fuel. Mkght also want to double check your impeller situation. Impros sold us a hooker with exact boat specs and it was too steep. I dont know what is the correct pitch, i have a solas.

Yah it did sit all winter so I'll check that. I got the the impeller from jet maniac. How would I check if it was to steep?. It has quick throttle response it's not boggy just doesn't seem to hook up well.

Is it cavitating? You may not have sealed pump to shoe well. Any airleak with cause prop to spin and loose low end.

What jet said ^^ same exact symptoms I had flipped it over and yup lost the seal . Siliconed it up nice and thick no mo problems

I think the ideal way is to shine light through the gap and see if u can see it , it's one of those things that pics can't get a grip of enough look at .

I noticed that you are running your bpipe different. Swap the exhaust stinger and overboard.

It should flow straight from headpipe thru restrictor to T to flowcontrol. Then the perpendicular bisector of the T flows overboard, thru a restrictor.

Also make sure bpipe isnt dumping water into exhaust. And the chamber is sizzling or running as hot as possible without fear of melting stuff. When you can put your gloved hand on the bpipe headpipe but not keep it there more than 3-4sec you know you are not too cold.

I just got my pipe power coated but I can put my hand on the top and it's def not that hot. does that mean I have to much water flowing through it?

I dunno buddy. The only way to know for sure is to set up a tool to put water pressure in there and see what its spraying.

Well fros tech correct but the powder isn't going to block the heat of that's what ur worried about , I have a powdered pipe as well and I'll tell u once u get settings right you'll know it . Google search like b pipe settings /xh20 or something similar with xh20 at the end . Tons of threads and different settings to play with . I actually found my fav pipe settings here and I love the way it feels
