I just picked up a 97 wave runner 3 seater that I'm looking to part out , it's supposed to be a 760, the stamp says 760 like It it should but the stamp on the cases and cylinder says 62t.... But it has dual pulse lines? Which on all the one 62ts I've delt with dosent have it from the factory. It has dual 44s like 760s should I'm a little thrown off could you help me out?

Do i have a genuine 760 or a 701 in a frakenstine ski? Thank you, I don't have much experience with 760s

Cases say 62t
Has dual pulse lines
And 44s

The sticker says 760

Edit and by the sticker I don't mean the one on the hull, I mean the one that's above the stator cover and by the 62t Y-1 stamp on the cases

All 760 cylinders have 62t cast on them. 62t 701 and 64x 760 platforms use the EXACT same cylinder castings (marked 62t on the casting). The casting sleeve bore is even identical. The difference between 62t 701 and 64x 760 is the sleeves. Even though the od of the sleeves for 701 and 760 are the same, the sleeve skirt od on the 701 drastically steps down to fit in the 62t cases. 64x cases, which are same as 62t but with 2 pulse lines and a larger top case bore, allow for the larger sleeve skirt od. Which in turn allows for a larger piston and cylinder bore. I have many times taken a 62t 701 cylinder casting, removed the sleeves and installed 760 sleeves with no machine work, allowing for up to a 86mm piston/bore. In short you def have a 760 or 64x platform. Great engines and someone will get good use out of that gem.
