Next question

I have a Ada head with 35cc domes my motor probably needs to be rebuild since I only have 150 or since I'm at alititude is it lower if so can I run a tighter dome on pump gas.. Anyone have experience with that!?

Also in my million questions lately my ski is ear popping loud now with the riva red pipe and my rubber exhaust tubes were warm I'm running a flow control single cooling with no restrictions so I'm wondering is I'm not building a nuff pressure to pop the flow control open to fill the the exhaust with water cooling and muffling the sound a little.

keep your ski on the trailer back it into water and take flow control valve off and run ski then see when it pops off i had to cut my spring for it to work properly!every ski is different!at idle no water should come out as u rev up it should then trickle out

Good to know about cutting the spring, is it normal for it to be that much louder then stock? It's funny but I've had to modify just about every thing I've bought from blowsion!

What's your altitude? You probably won't have to cut the spring.. Unless you're lacking water pressure due to cooling line lengths, etc.

It's normal to modify everything you get, that's how aftermarket performance is.. It's why they call it tuning, it's never completely plug and play because every setup is different. As long as nothing is overheating, I wouldn't worry too much about warm hoses..

I get that about modify I've built performance cars for a long time but there's been some stuff that I've just shook my head at. Yeah nothing got too hot mainly just can't believe how much louder it is. The lakes I'm at are around 5000 feet, I'm sure it's a engine problem when I had the head off I didn't like how the cylinder and ring seal looked I'm actually surprised it makes 150 with the ads 35cc head it was 130 stock

Riva from stock pipe? That alone is going to be a lot louder.

Cool just didn't know I can handle it just was wondering if maybe the flow contr was limiting the water so much that there was nothing in the water box to control sound!
Yes. That definitely can happen. But usually then your waterbox gets extremely hot.

Well ill trailer it in the water and adjust it like I was told better to comfrim then speculate!.. It runs great I just had wished I sealed my pump when I had it out last!

Run your 'ski with no flow control to get a baseline on noise levels. If it is markedly quieter you'll know you've got issues with the FCV.

Altitude will affect compression (it will drop off the higher you go). Going down to the next smaller dome size will increase the compression.
