Next Step

I have been riding my superjet 650 all summer and would say I'm an experienced rider. It has a coffmans, milled head, ported cylinders, r and d intake, and a Solas prop.

1. How much could I sell it for. ( it's in great condition, new paint job and grips and turf)
2. How much would I be able to sell mine for
3. What other mods should I do, and if no other mods, where should I go from here

With those mods and if it's in good shape I would say it is worth between $1200- $1500 depending on where you are located. If you wnted to do more mods I wouldn't waist too much money on the 650 and invest in a 701 as well as a B pipe a good prop and maybe footholds. That will really wake it up and make it a lot more fun to ride.

Could I find a bigger ski in that price range? Like in the 2000-2200 range? Would it be worth it to switch the motors out? Or should I just upgrade to a newer ski

Honestly, you can pick up a good 701 for around $450. That pipe and prop may work as well so you can wake it up for a lot less than buying a newer RN. I'm running a 61x, B pipe, Scat 12/17 prop, ADA head with 35cc domes and it is night and day compared to the 650.

I can buy a 701 for 250 bucks: I just need to make sure all the electronics will switch over. And I don't have to do a whole lot to get it back in the water. I've had multiple people tell me it will switch over: I have a lot of low end power with my 650 now. Will the 701 be an even bigger switch? Like will it be a HUGE difference

With all those mods including porting no, a stock 701 won't feel much if any faster. But its your only choice if you want to continue improving performance in the end.

A kawi motor isn't an upgrade...sorry I had to :p. I 650 ported and tuned right with the right prop and pipe is going to be like a stock 701 or even a hair better. The difference is that that's all you get with the 650. You are at it's limit. It's a sweet motor for low end power. The 701 platform has the limit of the sky though.

If you really feel you can't possibly get any better with a tricked out 650 then get a 701. If your pipe and prop are right and your carb is jetted right it will be better than the 650. A piped and propped 701 is a lot different than a 701/650 with basic mods.
