Hello fellow jet skiers . My name is Bernie Duffy and I've been riding off and on since 2000 . I have probably sold or bought parts from a number of you . I was member #67 over on the X . I post as Bern there and Berndog on pwctoday. I've kept a low profile as I've bought a house and had 2 beautiful daughters brought into my life.
Today, I am asking for your help because my sister is a first grade teacher in the worst hit parts of Houston . Pasadena, Texas has 12 + feet of water and thousands of people trapped , missing , or displaced. Her students are in dire straits. Large organizations are taking care of food and water and rescue. I am bringing personal hygiene items so people can stay clean and healthy .
I am driving one or two box trucks from New Hampshire down to the disaster area to transfer the personal hygiene supplies and then from there I plan to drive to northern Texas or Louisiana to help other charities move their goods to the disaster zone.
I am asking my fellow jet skiers for help by possibly selling apart or two and donating a portion of the proceeds. I will post screen shots of the posts I have going here on the sea coast of NH . Or if anyone here recognizes me and wants to post that I am legit and knows me .. I would appreciate it.
The outpouring of support has been extreme and I already have donations coming in for fuel. The best thing people can do is send PayPal and I will transfer to my bank account to use when I am in Texas for fuel, rental car for the way back, and for buying supplies at Walmart that I can find that are open. I am working with a lawyer to set up a charitable trust.

any donations appreciated. even if you sold something you arent using like a 10 or 20 dollar part. small contributions will be the back bone of the trip
I am compiling a list of contributors and I will separate all the Jetski donations. I can use those for whatever anybody here seems fit but I think it would be pretty cool if I can pick up some aluminum boats on the way down and throw them on top of the stuff... boats, trolling motors, and outboard motors that I can buy at yard sales will save lives directly.
