Yea but it is a complete aftermarket top and bottom deck, right?

I don't know anything about watercraft factory hulls but I would assume it is worth more than a shortened stock SJ hull with custom gunnies and a aftermarket hood.....but not that much more.

It's my 3rd stand up so it's not like I am a pro or anything yet. I like in North Dakota and there is literally no other stand up that competes with this for sale around here.

Almost everyone on this site has driven 12++++ hours to pick skis before! So don't limit your area so much! Just a thought!

It is a first generation WCF hull and it is much lighter+stronger than any OEM SJ hull. It will be a great all around ski.

It's worth whatever your willing to pay for it ! you don't need to listen to all those "keyboard cowboys"

I don't really know how to view products from a certain area. I know that I looked at 4 pages of skis and nearly all of them were from NY or Florida or somewhere far away.

I for one am not ripping on the ski in anyway. Just trying to give my $.02 on his value question.

What does it weigh? Just curious....

Who's steve? ALso, I kind of want a fully built ski. I don't exactly have the time or tools to build one yet. I will someday, but not now.

Steve is waterfreak a few posts up. He built that hull. And what I've seen of his skis there very nice.

According to the owner "It weighed 285 if I remember right with 1/2 tank of gas and full size battery." I know that no one is bashing the ski at all and it isn't mine so I wouldn't be offended if you were. I just would like to know if it is worth that price or if I should save my money and wait for a different ski.

Depends how bad you want it. If it were me I'd give him 6k

Pricing is tough these days IMO. A new SJ is $6999.00+tax, right? This is a better ski than a new stock SJ, right?

I don't know.....just thinking out loud.

9k is way to high IMHO but I really don't know what to tell you OP.

Offer him 6k and see what happens.

I talked to him and I have bought a ski from him before, so I got him to 6500. That's what I am buying it for and I only have to drive 45 minutes. In my opinion that is a good deal. Anybody disagree?

If it fits your budget and its what you want, it doesnt matter what everyone else thinks its worth. Buy it and ride.
