just like it reads .please advise, need help from fellow kawi riders my boat ran great today until it started acting like it was out of fuel so rolled over to reserve ,no go .changed the plugs nothing ,took plugs out no spark.i have alot of mods done to my 06 sxr for freestyle but nothing electrical i am running a tbm flywheel and im wondering if it could possibly be my stator or magneto any one expereince anything like this .please respond thanks robert.

Had one of mine act the same way. Pull the cover off the top of the ebox and check the connections just under the 2 bolt cap. Found a pin had fallen out but every once in a while would make contact and give me faulse hope. Bastard kicked my @ss for a week. Worth a shot and won't cost ya a dime if it's the problem.

I love how so many people with no spark issues tell you to check the stator. The stator on an 04'-09' sxr800 is only used to charge the battery. the system is a Digetal CDI system and power for the coils comes from the Battery. If the crank sensor aka your two wires from the front cover green and blue test good for AC output and you have battery volts thats DC to the CDI then it is the CDI box that is bad. Hear it all on this site but believe only a little.
