No spark when cracking superjet 1997

I have no spark when I'm cranking my ski over but it starts sparking when I stop cranking it. When I stop cranking it the ski will fire up sometimes and will run. I tried changing the battery, starter relay, voltage regulator, stater charge coil assembly and it has a new starter in it. I also pulled my brothers msd enhancer out of his running superjet and put it in mine but it still is giving me the same problem.

Its like something is eating up all the voltage when its cranking

any ideas?

Kill switch. Disconnect black and white wires at the ebox and try it.

Pull the stop start switch apart and look for corrosion in the lanyard switch.

I tried that. no change. Also tried hooking my vehicle up the the ski when it was running but that did not do anything ether.

The no spark except when you let off the start button is a classic symptom of a bad enhancer. It's either that or the start stop switch. Although, you should NEVER jump a ski off of a running vehicle, good way to fry a lot of ski electrical components.

Try a stock CDI, you can pick one up for about $60 used.

lol never jump a ski off a running vehicle yup. It was a last ditch effort before ripping out all the electrical and replacing it but I will try a 3rd cdi first. I also bypassed the start stop switch but that did not solve the problem.

looks like the white jump wire was bad coming off the cdi. I replaced it and now I have spark when cranking. Next problem or so it seems is I think it has delayed spark when starting. The motor will crank over 3 or 4 times minimum before any spark hits the plugs. Does this seem normal and if not why would it be delayed.

thanks for the help.
