Custom/Hybrid Normal pole bracket on Superfreak?

Wondering if anyone has used a standard style bracket on a badass,, instead of the plates. I have one plate the hole is wollered out, so I have to keep retightening it or it has slop. I run an xmetal pole, if anyone knows of a bracket that fits without too much grief, thanks for any advice.

Not crazy about the pinch bolts, it would also make running a spring easier, bolting the plates on with a pole and pole bolt does not seem easy! It was difficult enough just bolting in the plates, no room for washers on the top ones.

Sounds like a pain. No wonder you're looking for a new solution. I'm guess that's why they fixed that issue to allow normal pole brackets with the Titan.

I seem to remember seeing a Cold Fusion Freak (may have been Carl's, I dunno) that had two Square Nose Springs on it a few years ago at the World Finals. Not sure if it'll net you the exact result that you're looking for, but it might be helpful.

Edit:

Found this on their facebook page.......
It kind of looks like they may be custom springs or something.

i dont know if youll have any luck with a bracket. the mounting bolts for the bracket are probably going to be wider than the open area the pole fits down in.

Yes I have seen many different spring setups with the plates, I still would prefer a standard style bracket! Anyone else? does an RRP fit?

Look at the bracket plates of the Cold Fusion boat posted. You can see that you have about 1/8 inch between the pole and the hull (taken up by the Superfreak bracket plates in the picture).
Seems that the RRP bracket is far thicker than 1/8 inch. In fact, any bracket that's not stainless and of the XMW style will be far thicker than 1/8 inch. Now I am no genius, but it seems to me that any bracket like the RRP simply will not - cannot - fit, unless you start hull cutting and glassing. And who wants to do that on a hull that spendy?

i ran a stock kawi 650 pole spring on mine and it was perfect. i think i used the 650 pole bolt also. only the new titan hulls are designed to use a round nose crown. nothing fits in there on the badass.

do not run any kind of pole bracket on a badass unless it was ordered that way. the ski is meant to have the load from the pole where the plates are and not in the flat area. maybe new pinch bolts will solve your problem? those holes come pretty tight on those plates from tem. if the bushings on your plate are right they don't loosen up very often. good luck!
