I'll be there for the next 3ish years or something. I only know a little of the town "Triangle Motel Area" to more specific, lol. Boot haven.
Is there more to it then it looks? Whats within a reasonable driving range? any surf? any RC/Hobby Shops in town?
Are people in town militay friend or are they anti like so many

The whole town is military man. There is only a few civilians there. Camp Lejeune is large enough to lock its gates and run itself, there own energy and everything. Not to mention how many grunt units are there as well as MCAS new river, Camp Geiger, Camp Johnson. As far as retail you might find a hobby shop jammed in between the strip joints, Tattoo, barber shops, and used car lots.
