I got my trim in this week. If I can get it installed in time, i'm gonna give this a try on my Chan.

I'm getting the 180 hop down (vs the slide) but I can slide my chan a little so i'll see which one works.

I know I probably won't get around with my 770 and 144mag, but it'll get me familiar with having the ski land on me without having too much height. Also a chance to get used to the mechanics/ body english and speed of the event.

Glad to hear i'm not the only one intimidated by big rollers lol.

why not? people flip 701 skis all the time. I personally cant. but mine might as well be stock. it isnt correctly tuned, and the ignition is stock. I do nose flips in off big(ger) boat wakes. after riding a chan around (80lb glass carbon hybrid) with a stock pump, i think you can get it. i hate set up wakes. i cant fuccing time it to save my life. your just a negative nancy swapmeet. lmao DO IT! and video it.

Nooooo I'm trying to be realistic! I'm sure I could flip it off a big wake but that's me fighting my head about personal survival, not mastering my form LOL. I figure if I can get used to the motions on the 180 to flip thing it'll help me mentally when it comes time to try a wake.

im being realistic too man. With a stock pump, 701 (total loss) and bpiped, Pabloescobar is getting more than halfway around on a spin flip with no Trim. you got it.
EDIT: with his Chan. LOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG ride plate

just so you know i can get a 750sxi pro more than half way around on a setup wake and all it has is a pipe. nosing them in means nothing, the last bit of rotation is everything.

Every mod means a little too, I was giving swap meet here some hope. He's going to have trim, a bigger motor , 30lb or so less weight, and a short ride plate. And Mag pump. I dodnt say he was going to go plate to plate. I don't care if I land upside down every time, it's still fun to me. When I say I nose them in off boat wakes, I'm not talking still upside down and my nose hits first.

Don't use trim, trim will get it to come over quicker, but you won't get the height you need to complete the rotation when first starting out. I get them around much further without using any trim.

Hmmm... Ill try it both ways. I figure my chan is shorter than your Brawler, might react differently. :dunno:

Also my trim doesn't have a ton of throw as it sits right now. So maybe that'll work in my favor.

I've been trying the slide to flip with only marginal success. I can't seem to get any 'pop' out of the water, I just rotate on top of the water. So I grew some balls and moved up to trying set up wake flips. I'm getting there, the first couple were a bit scary but it gets better.
