Hey guys,I have a 2011 sxr and it won't turn over. Its getting fuel, has good battery, starter turning over, and has new spark plugs. The spark plugs are not sparking at all. Is the problem in the E-box or something? I checked the fuse inside the E-box and it's good. Help!!

Lol, the lanyard was the first thing I checked. How do you tell the stator is bad? I just got the stator out and I don't see anything out of ordinary in it.

I was lucky enough to use other working electrical parts to change out and see what it was, I tried a new ground wire, coil, pickup and the last thing it was the stator. Sucks because there's not a lot of Kawasaki people usually to try other parts from

Oh and you could try cleaning the stator and pickup with electrical parts cleaner sometimes you can get little bits of metal in there and cause a disruption in spark

I was able to get it to fired up but it makes a popping sound and barely idle properly. I'm guessing there is something wrong with the carbs or there is a bad connection somewhere that affects the ski.

open your ebox see if it has water in it, while you are in the e-box check all the connections clean them and put some Dielectric grease on them, clean and reattach ground wire, cut your plug wires back, check your compression and check your timing... see if that helps.

I found the problem. One of the prongs in CDI connector is broke and the other connector was badly damaged. I'm going to have to get a new CDI.
