Nozzle slop/wobble?

First ski so not sure this is normal. 97 RN superjet with a oceanpro nozzle. If I grab the nozzle and shake it by hand there is a little slop in the pivot bushings. When I take the nozzle off, there are the two factory bushings but the holes is the nozzle are a little bigger than the bushing outer diameter so it's not a tight fit. Is this slop normal or should the nozzle be nice and tight? Thanks

Yes, there is usually quite a bit of "slop". It does not affect operation- just ignore it. Make sure the nozzle retaining screws are installed with a thread locker such as Loctite.

The Sato Engineering systems came with plastic bushings. I bought a bag of them from McMaster Carr and had planned to add them to my other systems but never got around to it.
