Chuck aka @Nuklear6 has a great deal going on to bore and port cylinders so I sent him two sets of 61x cylinders from my blaster and SN.

Update*
Sent a third cylinder and cases to get bored, ported, and decked in Sept 2014 and received them back Feb 2015. Numbers below in red reflect that transaction.

Communication: 10/10
Chuck answered my txt's and called me 1-2 times a week with updates.

Communication: 5/10
Chuck would answer my texts and call me back much less often. Of course like he says at the end of the thread there is a fine line between taking calls and doing work. After a month past the delivery date I think a weekly update would have been nice. He has been helpful and replied to texts I have had since receiving the engine back and helping me with tuning.

Timeliness: 10/10
He was able to finish my cylinders and get me one of them a week early. It would have been both but he found a crack in my sleeve and I asked him to replace it.

Timeliness: 4/10
They ended up needing a little more work then necessary so I understand that takes more time. Also Chucks source for ProX pistons was back ordered for 85mm. However, I do not think it should have taken as many months as it did.

Price: 10/10
He was at least $100+ less expensive then everyone else i talked too.

Price: 10/10
You really get a lot for your money with CPT!

Braaaaaaap: 9/10
Edited 09/02. Rode the blaster and Superjet all summer and they have power for days.

Braaaaaaaap: N/A
This is one of Chucks famous 64x cylinders with decked cases. (big bore with the Same port timing and cc's at a fraction of the price of a 61x big bore) So far it has more power then my previous engines, but I have not yet gotten her 100% dialed in.

Over all:
Chuck does great work and went above and beyond to make up for the delay!

Thanks Cody! Should have that other cylinder finished up by mid this week. Just got back from a cruise this evening. Gonna get caught up with replies to everyone by Monday.

PS: before anyone says "Oh the roof of those intake ports look rough." The turn and roof of all the intake ports are textured on purpose, as I've found it gives that last bit of atomization before entry to the combustion Chamber. Some builders do it the entire length of the inside of the intake ports. I've found you get the same performance just doing the last bit with less bench time. The actual port opens in the sleeves are smooth and straight other then the intentional stepping in transfer port height.

End of summer update! Engines F@#King RIP! Superjet has the 61x/61x bored out to 753cc, ported, and it is much more impressive then what I was expecting. Blip of the throttle and she leaps out of the water.

Blaster with freestyle porting has great bottom end and managed to hit a top speed of 57.4mph. Not bad for a stock bore 61x/61x =)

Anyway I would highly recommend Chuck for any engine work you need done. I am going to be sending him my newest 62t/61x engine and cases next!

Always very helpful and a really nice guy also.
This is where Chuck shines compared to some other builders I spoke with. He gives you more info and details than you ask for. Then saves you money by letting you know his experiences with what works and what doesn't.

Thank you guys. I try my best at communication but it's a really hard balance between getting work done as a one man band and taking phone calls. Phone calls keep work coming in but phone calls keep work from getting done. I'm always trying to decipher the real balance of all that. Thank you to those that have been patient with me!
