Has any one fitted a nyjna pipe into an fx1 before.
Got pictures pleaase ??

Im building a tough little fx1 and want the best I can get out of the engine

people put blaster mod chambers in which is pretty much the same. I'm about to buy a ninja chamber with faith it'll work. I'm trying to get room for a6 gallon tank

Its going to be a matter of clearing the gas tank . That X2 stinger mod will get the tube away from the tank . Then its a question of how the stinger location affects power , since it is a good bit further back on the chamber . Maybe a question for Frits overmars and wobbly .

Can't the super jet just use the stock rubber exhaust hose? I would think that means that the fx1 could do the same

I sold my FX1 back in 1995 so I cant say for sure how well a C4 will fit one . I have been running C4 on a SJ and SXR for a while . Each chamber is a little different . If i put the one thats in SXR in superjet the bracket is way off . Chamber has to be positioned so the flange is flush with flange on headpipe , and then cut/ weld a bracket to hold it in place . Only after that is done can you make a tube to go from chamver to waterbox . A relocated stinger would help for sure . Straight pipe would be better than a bent pipe and it would keep it away from the gas tank .
