O-ring Head, What silicone?

I am going to slap a protec head on my ski and see what that does for my compression, anyone know what to use on the rest of the head to seal it around the cooling jackets? I have Yamaha silicone but it is for the cases on an engine, not sure what to use for a head. Thanks for any help!

Chuck (Supertune) told me to use 1211

That head only has O rings around the domes correct?

Yes, has o-rings around the cylinders only. The head was on the ski before, and has some remnants of some type of sealant on it. I am just trying to figure out why my compression is only 115 yet the ski runs so well, figured change the head first.

I have the same type of O-ring head (Old style) that only has O-rings around the cylinders. I used 1211 to seal it. You don't need to put the 1211 on the O-rings, just on the other surfaces and especially around the perimeter of the head

standard high temp silicon will do the trick as well.

I've used silicone, grease, and randomy stuff. Once its torqued down its ready to go
