Oh there’s no before and after on this one.

I was called in to get them back online after a fire and had to replace a couple analog cards to get their drives running.

Triage only.

As someone who works in the automation industry, I can completely relate to these panels.

I would go out on systems that were only a year or two old to upgrade from an ac vfd to a servo drive setup, and it would be a nightmare. It's crazy how people rig systems that cost more than most houses.

This cabinet still has a PLC 2 hanging at the top to give some idea of it's age, lol. It's been through at least 2 updates and there are zero prints to go along with it, not that they would be anywhere near accurate enough at this point anyways.

I had them up and running after 45 minutes of troubleshooting for missing +/- 15VDC reference voltage on their analog output cards but it didn't last. One of their electricians was tracing a wire back from a different drive and ended up shorting it to the supply leads which blew up the drive and both analog OFC cards. Of course the cards aren't available anymore so I had to replace them with OFE cards, rewire 5 drives from 4-20mA to 0-10VDC and change the logic from 8 bit to 16 bit control.

They were trying to get one line back up and running but I got them both lines in under 12 hours.

So what was the challenge sounds simple to me.

I've been getting quite a few inquiries lately so I'll bump this up again and try to head off any more. I know I've missed responding to a few inquiries but the bottom line is that I just don't have the time right now.

OCD is done, I'm not offering any services other than those I have previously committed to.
If you ship me anything, it will sit in the garage until i get home and then it will get shipped right back. No is no!

You would be competing with a 169% annual bonus payout, a 2.5% COL increase and a $10k/yr travel bonus.

If you can top all that, I’ll swing my attention back your way, lol. Until then, I’m a happy workaholic and OCD is retired.
