we go on vacation there last week in july. Last year we went out into the surf off of assatigue ( off the right of the inlet ) and had a blast

If you go out the inlet and head out just a little to your right there's a shoal out there that usally kicks ass at low tide.Almost always bigger then what the island surf is.4 to 6 feet is pretty typical.Add a couple feet to what ever the island surf is.

were would you launch from? my buddy has a house in fenwick island.I live in jersey but if the surf is right i'm there.

I use the ramp at the end of sun set ave.Just before you get in to OC on rt.50 turn right on 611 then left on sun set ave. ramp is down half mile on the right.Straight shot out the inlet to the ocean.
