just got off the phone with coast guard. they don't care if we have 30 skis lol. as long as we aren't and this is a quote "doing super dumb poop" meaning being near surfers and swimmers and stuff

Nice! That's why I always learned to just stay far away from ppl. Going in the evening is best most ppl leave the beach seeking night activities. So you'll find a large vacant area easy.

Around here CG are never the problem. They have bigger fish to fry. The state marine police are the ones to watch out for. But as everyone else said, tread lightly. Quiet skis, no more then a few skis, ride far away from ppl, and you'll prob be ok.

Im staying in a house in Salvo from Aug 9-16 and my skis will be on my trailer in the driveway at the house doing nothing.
Its gonna kill me to stare at that ocean everyday and not ride!

Ill be there that week too. You find the spot and ill bring my skis too.
