octane top deck on an sj

Will an octane top deck fit on an sj bottom? I thought i heard one time that the bottom hulls were the same but i'm still not sure i beleive it.

honestly bash me all you want but i love the octane topdeck. and i figured if i ever found one i may try to slap it on a squarenose.

have you ever been on an octane the trays are enormous ( good thing ) , they feel solid but very stable almoast boat like ( not good) sweet boats none the less

thats why i think it would be the best of both worlds. huge tray + sj handling.

i think so.
either way this will be a TON of work and cost a fortune that should be obvious. is it really worth it to you at this point? or would you rather be
perfecting those rolls and stabs?

an Octane is wider than a SXR, so I would doubt it would fit very well or would be worth trying

just widen your tray so that your sides are only 2" thick
