Word! We are already stoked to make the trip back to Va-JayJay Beach (seems fitting considering all the action on the boardwalk).

Tor-p-do, where do you normally ride in NC? I'm thinking about getting a SJ if I can find someone to ride surf with!

Thanks!

No doubt on the trim on the boardwalk
I could backflip some of that trim any day!
I am 6 hours west in Wilkes County, WD was my first attempt at surf

Is it bad that we haven't even officially made it to summer and I am already yearning for October for Wavedaze part Deaux?

I'm down anytime now. My ski is done, reinforced and ready to rock. Just got to get my riding in soon, because once we get to mid June, I am on baby watch.

Special Rate for WaveDaze 2009 is;
"Oceanview": $69 single occupancy per room per night, plus 13% Tax and $1.00 City Lodging Tax.
"Boardwalk": Much cheaper than last year, but you must ask about them directly.

(taxes are subject to change). Rate is for 1 to 2 people in the room. $10.00 more for each person per room per night. All rooms in the hotel have a view of the beach and the WaveDaze ride area! When you make reservations be sure to let them know that you are in the "WaveDaze room block"!

Check-in time starts at 3PM on Friday, October 2nd and check-out is 11AM on Sunday, October 4th. Some rooms join with other rooms, but if you want one such room, you must mention that when placing reservations. Individual cancellation is due by Tuesday, September 29, 2009 or first night’s room amount will be charged. Get your rooms quick! Our block of 50 rooms expires on September 2nd, 2009! Although, I do expect the hotel will sell out, we are working on securing a secondary hotel as a back up nearby.

Parking is available to Quality Inn guests in the first 3 floors of the 9th street parking garage. Floors 4-5 are public parking. This garage is across the street from the hotel.

EDIT 9/12/09:
Hey guys, there are still rooms available at the Quality Inn & that's the center of the action, but we also have a deal with the Schooner Inn at 2nd St. Rooms there are available if you mention WaveDaze for $49/night plus tax.
