Having an weird issue with my 62T B1. motor has 18 hrs on new top end, carbon tech reeds, carbs rebuilt and jetted with jet maniac specs, pressure tested, motor held 10psi for 30 min, so seals are good and currently 155psi per hole, fresh br8es plugs. ski does have riva red pipe. ski has ran pretty much perfect since my little overhaul. responsive, great power, idles perfect etc.
My issue is if I run at 1/2-3/4 constant throttle for over 45 sec or so the ski will die.. like its running out of fuel.. after it dies it will start right up and run great again. running bouys, play riding, no issue and runs perfect.. only happens during long constant throttle/cruising. I originally thought maybe it was my aftermarket inline fuel filter because it would run a low fuel level in the filter. I switched back to the oem filter, stays full of fuel still happens. checked the gas tank check valve and vent all ok.. I had the air inlet that sits over the carbs blocked off.. thinking maybe the front air inlet wasn't enough, I opened the rear/top air vent still same thing.. kinda at a loss. anyone ever experience this? thanks phil
