OR is it possible to remove the butterfly and reverse it? After all that's the issue, the butterfly opening toward hull instead of toward cylinder, irrespective of what side the diaphgram faces.
its not ideal it will work but i think to drill them is a better thing
by teeing them together you reduce the amount of pulse to each fuel pump and it MAY give an issue with avaliable fuel supply
I wouldn't T them, cuts pulse in half, pulse moves fuel, too much of a high speed risk to avoid a 5 minute drill and tap. Reversing carbs may not be ideal, won't hurt; low pulse could sieze a motor.
Also be sure that both pulse lines are the same length, whether you do try to 'T' them or run separate ones.
