oem coupler fitting

Hi!
need help to shim the coupler . On midshaft it is says 6M6 on the coupler clutch and on the engine side it says Superjet . And if I understand correctly they should be in the same height and walk in each other? but when I shims so it is straight on the top it becomes a border on the bottom ? It's impossible to get it at the same height all around , or am I doing something wrong? have someone else had this problem with Oem coupler clutch?
(not the best pictures but hope you can see.)

Best regards Niklas

It's will be very difficult, if not impossible, to align properly if the couplers don't match on the outside (OD). If they both use the oem rubber damper, and you get them aligned, then there will not be an issue.

The issue is not that they are different types, it's that they are physically different sizes, and thus you can't align properly.

The issue you are chasing is due to the size difference of the two.

The right way to do it is to change the engine side to oem, then follow standard alignment procedures. They can be found very cheap, if not free. I'm sure @John Ziegler has one for you. Jetmaniac also stocks them.

Yes the oem damper works on both sides, when i put it together it fits but the midshaft portion gets an edge on 3mm all way round. ? But it's straight! Can i drive so then?
