I've had a respiratory infection for 2 weeks and just barely starting to feel better.

I have another excuse, but I'll save that for another thread....

I wish it was a cold, I'd have kicked it already.

It started the Monday after Christmas Day, and today is the start of week 3. I've had a 10 day run of 500mg Cipro (or Keflex, I can't remember) twice a day, lots of hot herbal teas, Mucinex, Robitussin, and Vick's Vaporub.

and the side effects of the antibiotics are taking their toll on me also. :eek:

this crap sucks.

can't breathe enough to exercise or I would.

lungs so full of crap, that as soon as I try to exert and do ANYTHING I go into coughing fits.

It's gotten progressively better, but I think my DR was full of crap when he said "sinusitis"

I can't make it cause apparently I'm a pu$$y as my friends would say lol. Really I'm trying real hard to get out of debt and i now make a third what I used to. I could make it but not without contributing to more credit card debt. I will be back soon and not owe for it!
I miss all my friends and hope everyone has a great time! I'm thinking about it all day everyday now.

did the same thing a few weeks ago. then the doc gave me "prednisone" a lot less side effects and really helps with the breathing and coughing.. hope you feel better!

thats o.k. rags, i can honestly say you have a legitimate excuse, i have two buddies that are the real puswas!!! one decided he was going to go on a cruise! the other one says his girl friend won't let him go!! thats a sad excuse!!

Rags you are a very smart man. It will suck to miss the freeride but there are more important things in life that a responsible person knows he needs to take care of.
