I saw the vid of a guy that almost did it off a boat wake as well. I have never skied in the surf so I have no idea what would need to be done, but I just know it would look sick!!

saki, young grasshopper, you soon will will remember the ways of the water......after a couple broken collarbones...and torn acl's. Nothing beats the dirt...and nothing will beat you like the dirt. You are just starting to be a danger to yourself. After you have had your fun, you will realize that in order to prosper and grow old, your chances will be greatly enhanced by staying out of the dirt .... and playing in the water :wavey:

Can anyone do a BR re-entry? I have been looking for that move in vid's and havn't seen it yet. There have been a few that are close but they land on the other side of the wave. I think it takes tricks like that to start progressing tricks. I have not been around long so corretly if I am wrong here.

JK used to do them if I recall.

I think there are a few riders doing them now. In the last issue of Jet Waves (france) there is a 'how to' about that trick. instructions were by Pierre Maixent, photos by Ludo.

I'm not entirely sure who the rider is in the pics, i am assuming it's Pierre.

the BR re-entries were done by fabien (x-slide team from st.martin) i think....they're in the fullgaz vids

Kris had some shots posted of Fab doing them is St Martin. Not knocking Fab's, but I rebember the wave cresting and not dumping over on the BR re-entry I saw. Still a bas ass trick.

JK was doing them in Baja years ago, there was a write up in there that showed a frame by frame shot of it, this was in 2003-2004 or so. Think it had JK, Rick Roy and Jeff Jacobs in the article also.
