I highly doubt it was anyone from the forum, but I had to throw it out there.

Both victims were wearing wetsuits and life preservers. The jet ski later washed up on shore. The riders, who were from Waterford, Mich., told first responders they were not aware of the conditions of the lake.

Sounds like couch riders to me. They only reference a single ski for two persons.
