Three broken r hass motor mounts.(first version) . New set arrived the other day. Cross my fingers.
In the last week
Blew out base gasket Pulled motor and tore down found epoxy on cases soft???????
pulled motor out of RN changed crank seals installed that motor and electrics in rickter
Replaced motor mounts

rode sunday
This week pull motor out of Rickter Make ready for new Motor Hopefully get short block install Flame ign and jet carbs
Pull pump and replace prop
tune sat and break in for 7 min ride like a Madman the rest of the weekend
I've broken exactly one set of OEM mounts in 6.5 seasons of riding, including 2.5 seasons of pancakes.
WTF are you guys doing to your mounts???
I am starting to suspect that I am a total nancy!
:bigok:
Yup.
I replaced my steering cable, but not because it was broken. Just bought a different one to try.
I also adjust the carbs to run MS109 for the weekend.
Other than that, I never touch the carbs. Same settings in 35 deg water, 30 deg air as in 70 deg water, 105 deg air. It runs the same. (Of course, humidity is always low here and never changes)
So....I don't really fix that much on my ski. I got customer skis for that.
On that note: Did two SD 787 topends recently, a 787 SBT motor swap, have a Kawi 1100 topend coming up the next couple of days, a Yami 1200 Carb clean & rebuild, and another Yami 1200 with starter trouble.

Managed to find some longer rivets so hopefully this doesn't happen again too soon.
Haven't fixed it yet but broke a steering cable sunday...fixing it wednesday
did the new steering cable improve performance?
:nana: currently nothing to fix!
