Freestyle Okay so what in the heck did ya have to fix on your ski today?

this season ive fixed a steering cable,a head pipe that let go,i built a roundnose with new motor,and just yesterday i had to rebuild carbs before i rode cause the were boggin.the quesion should be...what DIDNT you have to fix on your ski today.

In the past week I replaced all of my exhaust hoses because they would break in to pieces when you would grab them. I replaced a couple cracked fuel lines and also fixed my carbs because one wasn't opening all the way. So much fun!

Let's see, on a supposedly built and ready to ride ski I have done;

- Fixed and adjusted the out of whack home built quick steer mod.
- Replaced a hacked up protech exhaust that pretty much grenaded on me. (with new b-pipe of course)
- Repaired a gas tank that the protech had almost worn a hole right through.
- Continue to try and get the carbs tuned properly.
- And Monday night I found my carbon ride plate missing. All mounting bolts still in the hull.

My list for tonight,
- Rideplate (if the new one came in today)
- fixed the rear bumpers that are shooting water up my arse when I ride
- different popoff springs
- install the primer fittings in my carbs so I can finally put on my aftermarket FA's
- make a popoff gauge
- new regulator diaphragms in the carbs

I forgot!
Remember when I "fixed" my turnplate issue? ha, today I unfixed it off a wave. Now I get to do it again and install my backup steer cable. I used rivets on some stuff thinking that it would hold tight. Then I got way sideways in the air and upon landing my death grip help but my turnplate mod did not. So, I shall tap the holes and install bolts like I should have and put my cable in on my next wrench session. What a dumb banana. :Banane01:

Funny thing is I was reading this thread the other day thinking, "gee my ski has been running great since April (starter) something must be ready to break soon!" and no sooner did I think that then my ski developed a wicked bog. Runs fine most of the time but if you hit it, it bogs/chokes itself out. Blah. So yeah, I guess I'll be fixing that today!!
