Custom/Hybrid Okie XFS 771 Build

Hi I have an XFS with a Thrust innovation trim set up. I have run the ski with a B pipe for 3 months and then changed to a PF dry pipe and I have not touched the stock exhaust outlet and my ski does not lose power when I turn. Making the exhaust tube longer will this not cause more drag as the ski is taking off the wake ??

I don't see it causing more drag because it sticks straight out the back of the ski. We will run it and see how things go.

Took apart the old water box...or i mean electrical box...Believe it or not this e-box was out of a running SJ.

I had my ebox open last night actually on my SJ. It was slightly moist/damp (not wet, but seemed like moisture was getting in) and had pismo beach sand inside it too (weird?).

Yours looks a bit frightening in the first pics, but is looking a lot better after the clean and paint! Post a pic once the electrics are re-installed if you can.

thanks

I had my pipe out last week and saw the rubbing marks (I've known its been doing it but never looked for the marks before)

I thought about turfing, but thought it might melt. I will add it next time I have the pipe out since you say it should be okay.

I have a deep notch in my gas tank actually from the pipe weld. I have a thick piece of rubber over the notch on the tank now, I was worried it was going to rub through. I actually just put it on with one strip of duct tape right to the tank and it is holding well.
