Oklahoma stand up riders?

Location

Its funny. My good friend moved up there about a year ago and is looking for people to ride with now that he's all settled in, and he's trying to get ms to make the move.

What's the riding scene like? I really don't want to leave the cost (5hrs away from oceanside is long enough)...being that I just finished building my new boat but dropping everything and moving and starting a new life away from Vegas does sound like a good idea.

Riding scene isn't big in oklahoma. Its alot bigger in the dallas area (Lake Lewisville).

I live 3 miles from lake texoma, has the biggest yachts in oklahoma, our crew runs around chasing yachts, sometimes when we are done doing flips and $#!+ they invite us aboard to drink beer etc. its a great time.

depends on where you want to move theres alot of people that ride in tx about 3 hrs from texoma in dfw are and they make coast trips to the gulf a couple times a year if not more

Lake Texoma is an hour and half from Lake lewisville.

We make it to the gulf twice a year.

That would be cool. Sadly not yet. I am going to a bigger engine, already ordered. Im going to save for that Torrent 148. Alan will be putting one in his rickter before spring LSFR. I am not going to know what to do with a 781 in my footrocket, found out my 701 was 35/35psi low, so it will be a big boost in power hah.

the okc area has some guys that ride. @SkiPro rides like every day on a little pond of a lake. Would be better if we have flatewater skis. I have like 6 close friends that i ride with here in the city. we ride at a lake about a mile from my house. I work at a malibu boat dealership, so most of my buddies have a malibu. So we bring the boats and skis out (so the girls can be on the boats) and hit waves at surf speed. sometimes we'll bust out the v wave.
Then there is another group in okc, they mainly just run buoys every weekend. one guy has a pretty built sj. it could flip off a boat wake easy. They have like 10 guys that ride.. but mainly just buoys.

As for tulsa, I don't know anyone who rides serious up there. There are more lakes in tulsa than in okc though. Some guy bought my adjustable aluminum handle pole, steering, and another sn pole i had the other night, and he was from tulsa

yeah, it's shortened and all that. trim, big power dasa motor. it could flat water flip with someone that knows how to do it.
Yeah, im all about the yachts too! thats why i love texoma. get to hit waves about the size of gulf waves. My dad has a silverton at highport, so we just hit his waves all the way to the islands. then chase boats from there.
