I had a bunch of old gas and tried calling around everywhere for someone to take it. No one wanted to touch it. I poured it a gallon at a time on a fire and burnt it up. If you just let it set out, it will eventually evapourate. My grandpa has an old truck and he accidently punched a hole in the tank of it. Well that gas that was spilled on the ground still stinks/smells four months later! Dispose of it wisely...

I too am sad to admit that I burned alot off in the same fashion when I owned an acreage, kinda hard to burn now that I live in a city. Currently I have 5 gallons of mixed gas to get rid of so i don't want to dump it in my truck.

It seems to be working okay in my Husky Trimmer and the Leaf Blower so I guess I'll keep going that way. When it's down to 2.5 gallons I will dump it in one of the couches before I top it off with premium and just run it out.

They will take it at the oil recycle won't they? Back home we could just dump it in with the used oil.

Talk to LBE he has a remedy for this with small camp bonfires in pismo around october time... oh yeah and 5 gallon trash bags full of fuel.

It is a professional controlled meathod to say the least.

That reminds me of my boss telling me to fill up ballons with the propper mixture of gas from an oxy acetylene torch. Put it in a card boadx box. Then soak the box with gasoline throw a match to it and run!

you can fill ballons with acetylene and tie some toilet paper to it and hand the ballon in a tree and light the TP and run. IT is LOUD!!!

Yeah my boss said to adjust the torch controls so the A/F mixture is right. Then turn off the tanks to make the flame go out. Then tuen on the tanks and fill up some ballons with the gas mixture. He said it was liek a 30.06 going off. As he is telling me all of this I am seeing myself doing this in my head. I said you know I am a fire bug right... I need to call my uncle, he has some cutting torches, I do not...

As for the old gas, take it back to the gas station, tell them it messed your car up and you are going to sue. Then leave it sitting there in one gallon milk jugs and walk away.

Filled a hefty trash bag with oxy/acet with a long fuse thru the knot. Lit a cigarette and poked the other end of the fuse thru the cigarette. This gave us plenty of time to get away.
Lucky it was out in the country.....broke most of the downstairs windows in my bud's house from 200 yards away.
