The gen 2 i owned was ridden in tons of surf and I thought it worked awesome! Loved it! And my buddy has a carbon gen 3 and that worked great in surf too. Just my 2 cents

I know. I almost mentioned you and your boys as examples of people who liked the BOB in surf and i had a feeling youd chime in but I was mostly talking about the general consensus of most peoples opinion. I'm not even saying I agree but the whole point was to help the Ski Clinic build the Ride hull to cater to those people who don't believe the BOB is a capable surf hull. Your hulls also weighed 130 pounds which will make any hull more stable in chop.

My Gen 2 was heavy at 130 lbs. The carbon Gen 3 is 85 lbs and yes its a little sketchy in chop but not terrible. My heavier hull was definitely a better Bob for surf though.
 
Well .... I'm looking at the hull right now and I don't see anything wrong with it ... Maybe you should stop smoking so much of your own product and start worrying about your own hulls ....
