oops!! ouch!!!

ok so i think i may have just made a not so cheap paper weight. i put my cases together and i thought i had all the crank pins aligned. well i didnt and here is what happen. anyone know if this is fixable or am i screwed? :banghead:

they are already ported. so not even if i push the dowell back threw and epoxy it back in there? they use epoxy when they port cases. if i remember right people use to epoxy the cases to fit stroker cranks.

U can try, but u might have a air leak, if u decide to run these cases make sure u pressure test the motor.

why would you get a air leak?

it goes to the bearing and after that there is two seals i would think the only thing to worry about is if its warped

after its cleaned up of course

Yes, just grind out the area where the dowel tried to punch through, use a punch and get the pin back in place, then be very clean with a patch of JB weld and sand smooth and be careful to line up the pins and put it back together.
