MAd MAT do you have a b pipe i can get??? haha thats my problem i cant find one... thats what i really want but im not paying 700$

there are b-pipes on flea bay all the time and on here they go for minimum $500 ive seen people pay $700 for used.. in my opinion if you have the cash and really want a b-pipe spend the $775 and buy a new one..

.. that being said.. i have ridden Junkyards ski with the type 4 and it hits Hard.. i have a b-pipe in mine and its only now hitting harder since i changed flywheel, head, reeds etc..

for $350... id snap that dry pipe up, bang for the buck you will get your $$$'s worth

if you dont want it.. let me know id take that at that price as spare

Well once crab's pipe sells and i get mine back from factory pipe id be glad to sell it to one of you people that wants it for a great price:loser:

Why is the B pipe the "B" pipe where as the other ones have numbers? The b pipe could of been the type 6 pipe of the type 0 pipe

the "B" is for BS. cuz that is what they are. as they laugh all the way to the bank selling people a pipe for 800 bones when they run limited numbers in order to keep supply down and demand up. someone else needs to build a pipe and cut factory's throat on the price. not to mention you get to deal with additude when yoou talk to them. i hate factory.

if you dont want it.. let me know id take that at that price as spare

steve we can work out a deal later and you can have my pipe.

The Type 8 (or as we used to refer to them as the "butt sppon") pipe was the worst pipe ever offered by FP. It had ZERO bottom end, but made crazy top end.

I would consider the Type 9 to be more of a race pipe. You can get it to have good hard hitting bottom end but it requires a lot of initial timing (think total loss or advent, ect), lots of compression and a pretty low pitched prop. With the right combo it rips.

I love my Type 4 black chambered pipes (High Rev). The key is to get them aligned right with with manifold and they are trouble free. I used to change out the couplers about twice a year because I felt like it. If you dont have set up right, you will burn through a lot of couplers. On a side note, you couldnt pay me enough to have a blue chambered (limited) in my ski. They are a pain in the a** to get out of the ski. The shorter black chambers are much easier.

I've had both a type 4 and bpipe. here are my thoughts:

T4 had way more punch. My 98 was completely stock except choke removed, & skat trak 14/18 prop and the T4 with water injection. The T4 made it rip. Most people who rode my ski didn't like the way it jerked (like turing on a light switch) and took off (aka arm rip). It was more difficult to install. I surf ride and loved it. It sounds 100% more brappy than a bpipe

You do need to check and maintain a T4. The water injection nozzle plugged up the pipe ran hotter than normal and the coupler burnned. Jetski sloutions has an update and modification for this pipe. Used, it will cost less than a bpipe so IMHO its a better bang for the buck.

The bpipe is simple to install is very low maitenace. You do have to watch it doesn't melt your gas tank. It will fill up the waterbox with water at idle and stall easier than the T4, so you need flow control valve. It is smoother on the throttle response (aka more linear).

I really like the snap of a T4...stock with MSD (which I didn't have) I hear is the bomb! I have a head, air filters with the bpipe it's much smoother with 98% of the punch. So in summarry the bpipe is a more comfortable ride and lower maintainace. T4 get that yank and haul ass snap I love!
