Opinion rocker vs non rocker

This has probably been done before but I couldn't find it. Looking at getting a waveblaster and wanted some opinions on rocker. Will be riding in a choppy to rough lake. Does it make a big difference?

I would if I rode in unpredictable choppy crap. Its not only for sweet surf but it makes your ski more nimble/turn on a dime which would help in tight choppy conditions.

My opinion is the non rocker in choppy water if you rocker it ride With the nose High all the time an it Cannot go full throttle. Unless you make a longer rideplate to match the rear cut.

Don't rocker the rear and you wont ride nose high.

I had thought about leaving the front stock and doing a full width ride plate in the back so it could be long for flat water and short for surf. What do you guys with modified hull experience think of that? Not looking to flip, just turn quicker and keep the nose up going down a face. Hull is stock now but have to cut the rear open to fix the seperated bond rail.

Just rocker the front and leave the rear alone. Its fine stock for all around riding. A few inches longer in the back if you want to chase bueys . I did not like at all how less buoyant the rear of the ski is when rockered. Forget about how the shortness feels in handling , the less buoyant rear is a big downfall for me. Landing jumps and deep water boarding sucked with a rear rocker.

Great, thanks. Just going to cut the deck and repair the rail inside then. Chopped seat will probably be the only thing I do to it.
