Freestyle Opinions: Intake Grate? 9/15 hooker?

Im taking a step forward and putting my first two upgrades on my SJ. Before I buy them, I want to make sure that the Worx 201 intake grate and the 9/15 hooker prop are the best ones for what I'm going to be doing. My 2000 ski is completely stock. I ride flatwater 99% of the time but will take a few trips to Daytona throughout the year. Opinions would be awesome...

Sounds like a good set up, the only other impeller I could suggest would be a Solus 13/17, I have never run a 9/17 but a lot of people have.

Ya 9/15 is a good choice for flat. A 11/17 Hooker or 13/17 Solas better for surf The worx 201 intake is good all around.

I had impros pitch my solas at 13/18 then I put a hooker 9/15 huge huge low end responce. Mostly chasing wakes 3-6 foot faces. I have not tried the hooker in big surf yet. Pismo woohoo.

I tried a 9/15 in the surf and didn't like it. Great bottom end but spun to much towards the top. IMO (like I already said) the 11/17 or 13/17 Solas is better for the surf. If you really think about it, that instant hit off idle isn't how we ride in the surf, surf riding is more mid range. I'm not idleing when I hit a wave to do a roll
