Opinions on this set up

ok, can get these goodies at a really god price from a friend who has brought it in to the country but decided on a different set up, its going on a 05 superjet and will be used primarily for flatwater freestyle.

- 44mm single carb "freestyle" kit
- 44mm flame arrestor
- rick roy footholds / and hydro turf kit
- Wamiltons carbon fibre freestyle rideplate

- umi pole -2" 0deg bars with full Umi steering and lowered bracket etc.
- cdi advent
- factory pipe type 9 with UMI Head (with interchangeable domes) and a head / pipe link up modification.
- Vforce carbon reeds

I already have a skat track freeride swirl impellar / RnD intake grate.

as said this would be at very good money, a friend might take his type9 pipe and head (as his jet is for racing only) and then i will take his factory b pipe at a good price) i will then have my stock head milled and port matching done for now.

Will my stock chinpad fit on the UMI Pole ? as i have had a very cool jettrim cover done recently ?

well ? any ideas , thoughts ?

Yamaslut wil this be enough power to barell roll ?:hail: lol only kidding :cheer:

Sounds like a good setup for me.. i would maybe go with a different prop.. maybe a concord or a skat 12-17 and definetly B pipe

As for the OEM chinpad on the UMI i think it wont look good.. will look too big and bulky.. just get u a wammer or similar chin pad.. but then again thats my personal opinion, i just hate the huge oem chinpad!

Good Luck

yeah do not put the type 9 on your freeride ski
i wouldnt buy the single carb if i was you
its a waste of time
i know this will cause an argument but the reality is in the testing

thanks for the opinions, i will get a blowsion chinpad to go with it, i see what you mean by bulky.

with regards the single vs dual, i am not very mechanically minded unfortunatley. but might just take it for now over the stock set up, and then revert to dual carbs when finances allow me too bring some puppies in.

ok B pipe it will be, thanks for that saves me a 1000 dollars lol :)

I'm the opposite, I'll take duals over single anyday. It all depends on the set up your running.

answers the guys questions... DAMN

lets not turn this into the 40,000 disscussion on this moronic topic. Wax is correct. end of story.

Why would you purchase a single carb to replace duals.... absolutely retarded, unless you do it strickly for ease of operation ....

Why are people so confused about this subject..

PEOPLE RUN SINGLE CARBS FOR FOUR REASONS:
1. EASE OF TUNING
2. LESS WATER INJESTION
3. THEY STILL HIT GOOD AT THE LOW END
4. CHEAPER

its great that you can put an "end of story" with your opinion as if its etched in stone, but youre contradicting yourself when you list the 4 reasons that people use singles. with those four reasons, how are singles "a waste of time"?
