Opportunity to buy SX-650, what are your opinions?

If you can find a waveblaster 1 or some other yamaha 701 / 760 jetski for cheap you can use the engine, and might also be able to swap the pumps straight across. Or you can pick up a used 701 engine for around 400-500$ in the for sale section. Your 650 carb and electronics will work on the 701 too. Just need to change the jetting on the carb.

bored&stroked - What do you find so much better about your SJ? I have a stock motor 650sx with footholds and am seriously considering a motor upgrade like yours. Worth it? Further comparison with your SN would be really helpful.

The superjet handles better and has better bottem end power. Its an overall better package. Would I drop another 750 in my 650 if I did it over? Maybe. I wouldn't spend the money I did though, I could have put together a yami 701 instead and put it in.
