Forgive me for asking, but you have any idea of traveling over a strip of the most hotly contested commuting real estate on the west coast?
Those two towns are pretty far apart.

Like I said, I was just trying to help out. I have been here all my life and I avoid that whole part of the world as much as I can, at all costs.

Dude What's your goal? If you're planning on moving out West to be close to areas where you can ride surf then Gardena is a bad choice. There's no decent surf riding areas within a 100 miles of Gardena, and Gardena is the middle of the arm pit of LA traffic.
