Overal OPV Steering

There is a ton of hype about OVP, that's for sure. But it's not dissapointing at all because it lives up to its expectations. It does feel more natural, and it's a great way to shorten your steering setup a little more.

Explain a different type of smooth feel with the jetworks. Right now I am riding with my rrp with what I am guessing beat bearings. I have to literally muscle it to have the boat do what I want , so any change to something smooth will take some time to get used to and probably feel out of ordinary for me.

Ball/roller Bearings vs bushings...you can't really explain the difference without feeling them. They're both very smooth, but in a different way.
If I didn't want my pole a little shorter, I would have stuck with my Blowsion fatbar setup forever. With a thrust washer setup and lots of grease, it never caused me any issues. However, the way OVP feels is so cool.
Plus, 200$ for a fatbar setup? That's a decent price when you consider others!! Worst case scenario, your bushings wear out and you endup paying less than 20$ to replace them. No seals or o rings to worry about, etc.

I have the Overall OVP steering. It's a phenomenal piece. Sealed stainless steel bearings should last awhile. It actually arrived from France faster than half of what I order in the US. I think I ordered it on a Thursday and it was at my door on Tuesday. Fredo is a little difficult to understand at times, but he stands behind his product. It might be over engineered, but it's still a great price. Especially considering the money we spend on everything else.

As far as how the OVP feels vs a turn plate, whitca did a good job describing it. I've only had an hour or so on mine, but I noticed it immediately. You can't go wrong with any of the options presented so far. They all seem to be well designed.

What is everybody running for bars on the 1-1/8" setups?
I switched to a Moose XC taper bar that I have run on my woods bike for years and it was the best comfort change I have ever done for the ski.
I can't stand the bars that are completely straight (blowsion, RRP, etc.) and the fact you need to add extenders to fit everything is dumb.

Blowsion just released a set of fat bars that have a little bit of backsweep to them. I think the new blowsion bars are wider as well.

New Blowsion bars have plenty of room for trim now. Total of at least 2 inches wider than my old rrps.
