did you ever figure out your ski problems?
I have to work on that sj of mine. i guess the previous owner broke the upper 2 pipe mount bolts, so i was held on by one, was. the chamber moved back cracking the 1 cyl bolt hole holding the mount, pulling the threads from the case.

compression was low, 120 pto 130 mag, now its 120 pto 80 mag

My main problem is that blaster pipe needs a 2nd pipe mount. But with my ADA cylinder I can't do that. So I need a new pipe and the flywheel problem was that I used the wrong key the first time so the flywheel wouldn't seat properly. It was on tight when I tried to remove it tonight.
Sounds like your problems would be solved with a new set of cylinders and a set of pistons. Then all you would need to do is new crank seals and you would be good to go. Not bad ... not cheap but not bad either.
