A quart is plenty for a deck and hood kit.

I guess it depends on the Color/coverage of the color and the quality of paint. If you have a good spray gun that is efficiant and have been spraying for a while, you can get away with a pint of GOOD paint. 1 Pint of paint = 2 pints of sprayable material. If you are doing a light or florescent color I would suggest a quart to be safe. Therefore you will end up with 2 quarts of sprayable materal.
Just remember cheap paint will have poor coverage therefor you will be using more material in the end to cover.
