Blaster painting question (epoxy primer dry time?)

does anyone know how long you need to wait to sand epoxy primer (rattle can)? it's a relatively light coat. the can says it can be handled within 5 hours. total dry time is 24 though... do i need to wait the 24 if im gonna wet sand it?? any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!

you should be able to sand it as soon as it is dry enough not to ball up on the paper. I would do a small test spot after the 5 hours, if it strts to ball up on you then waiy a little longer, otherwise you are good to go.
