Painting the 650sx w/polyurethane

Anybody ever try brush on polyurethane? I decided to give it a shot see what ya think?! If there is interest I could try to put together an actual writeup. Im trying to keep it cheap it is a 650 so its not really worth much but I thought it would be interesting practice before I start on the Yamis.

is that color metallic? Looks pretty good. can't tell but it looks like dust fallout on the paint. Is it a one part paint? I think if it is you can put multiple coats on it and then wetsand and polish to get out the dirt and dust and there is always one bug that flies in it:banghead: then it looks like it might be hard to tell you didn't spray it. It still looks good and was probably tons easier and cheaper than spraying it. and now you can touchup anytime.

how much was the paint? and where did u get it. and your saying your just used like a paint brush and brushed it on? if so give me so step lol i need to paint my 650 bad
