If you need those spacers my buddy @toddgrochowski has some from his eme. That would end your spacing issue

I talked with Levi, I didnt have this problem when I built that ski, but it had a mag setback pump so the shaft would have been 2" rearward. Sorry it isnt going together easy man.

No worries man it's just little stuff that's the only issue I've had with the hull . The bed plate was hacked but I bought that used , what do u thing about me chopping a corner of the plate so I can move the motor back about another inch

So I made some good progress today , completely re did the bed plate . Moved the motor back two inches and made it work without a coupler spacer . Mounted ebox side ways and tank is mocked up along with pipe pretty much compete

Going to put a wedge under front of tank just a little one , so I can add a internal fuel filler . . Making an aluminum tank but haven't had time to drive to my buddy's shop and get after it
I know it's not a billet dasa power house but I'm happy with my progress and looking forward to hittin some wakes

I might run a stocker sxr in my Vengeance (mini sxr). It will be nice to be able to cruise and hit the boat wakes. I think you made a good choice going with your tuned motor set up.

Yeah dude I know Yamaha is way more ideal now , but I've already put a ton of time and effort in the motor and it's fresh . I bought a tiny tach /hour meter so I can know how many hrs I run it this summer

Nice, your motor looks sweet!! I ran a single 48 Novi (older style, bought used from Kommander) on my old sxr motor and that was a fun ride. 165m 150p, I can't remember spring I think 115, return jet: 30 What a blast that thing was. Those Novi's bring some power for a single carb, I loved that motor.

Your going to love your new ride, congrats! Now to just get used to the short hull. It's definitely a learning curve, but really fun once you get used to it.

got my water box in . Fits way better then my big ole tdr .
Ordered some new silicone hoses turn out Yamaha exits are 2.5" and my Kawasaki was 2" makes sense why it was a nightmare to get on the tube in the hull, also what's everyone thing about orange and yellow hoses ? And engine deco?

Siliconeintakes.com for some hose reduces will be your cheapest option. Or the rad dudes exhaust hose is 2.5. the metal tube going thru tray is also 2.5.

So I'm pretty horrible at build thread posting anyway got my tank fitted and strapped in got the internal filler done added a mag set back pump used and got my pole slapped on literally waiting for some bolts for the steering hull fitting at the pump side and a battery

I'll add some pics tomorrow of everything slapped in
. Found that billet cap on Amazon for 14 bucks . Blows ion is trippin on 60 dollar gas caps there not that tight . Also bought a pole limiting rope and the damn end broke off . Haven't even rode the ski lol . Kinda disappointing when everything there is like 45 and up
