Other Parts For Sale "Petition"

So early in my jet ski years I realized that pretty much everything on the ski needs to be replaced with an aftermarket item. Stock parts are either broken or they are going to break. I spend a lot of time in the "Parts for Sale" section just looking for good deals to create unneeded projects for my already finished jet ski.

It seems like in recently the entire parts for sale section is a bunch of take off stock crap. I know we have all posted plastic hull fittings and SN nose caps on there at some point because there is always someone looking for that one thing but this does make it difficult to find the good stuff. Maybe I am a jet ski snob like my girlfriend says and I am the only one that feels this way?

But if not what about asking for the parts for sale thread as two separate sections? One for aftermarket parts and one for stock parts. That would make it a lot easier to find the bling.

Different topic but I think a "short block" for sale section would be a lot better than OEM/am parts.

lol Then what happens for a longblock.... I wouldn't mind a stock and AM section, and even a motor section wouldn't be a bad idea to add to the list.

Pretty simple. Items listed in the "shortblock" section must be Atleast assembled cases, crank, cylinder, pistons, and head. The more parts added to the assembled short block the merrier.
we already have a hulls and a parts section. It would be sweet to cruise the classifieds and see pages of just engines.

Pretty easy to pick ENGINE FOR SALE titles in the parts forum, don't really see a need for an entire forum to itself. Stock vs aftermarket parts is a viable option but again this just comes down to you scrolling a couple pages of titles....not that difficult.

Ahh that's not bad idea, I was thinking if it was more to a shortblock you couldn't post there. But you are in favor of shortblock or more, rather than just a few engine parts. Good idea. Definitely agree with @bored&stroked, pretty easy to see the titles and especially if there is Stock or AM it will be easier to find. It isn't so bad right now but might make it easier for some people. Interested to see if it happens or not
