Parts interchange help

Hey guys. I'm building a blaster currently, and have a 95 wave raider to strip for parts. I have a couple interchange questions.

First up is the midshaft bearing in the engine bay. From previous readings all the midshaft bearings from 701 superjets interchange. The blaster and raider have different part numbers, but both part numbers say they interchange with 701 superjets. The raider bearing is bolted to a second mount which I've never seen before, although it unbolts and separates easy enough. For reference:

The second question is the pump itself. They are both 144mm pumps. The impeller duct sections are the same part numbers, but the impeller housings are different. Not sure what the difference is, can I just run the raider part in the blaster hull?

Last up is the motor mounts. I've read about people using couch mounts in stand ups, so I had figured they were interchangable in some way. Again, different part numbers and this raider [unlike my fiberglass hulled raider] has some weird spacers under the mounts from the factory [that can separate like the weird midshaft setup].

Thanks to anyone with enough time to actually look, I know its a lot.

I'm pretty sure the spacers are just add-ons to the parts you've mentioned. Yamaha doesn't like to make new moulds and individualize parts unlike another pwc manufacturer that I very much dislike. You can easily put one of the engine mounts next to one in the Blaster hull if the engine is still in it to see how it matches up. If the engine is out, match up the bolt holes to the hull on the mount. They should have the same spacing. A 701 is pretty easy to lift in and out of those hulls, I would put the mounts in and set the motor up on them to see if they give adequate height. I am using couch mounts in my RN, I think they're from a Raider too, I don't foresee any issues with the mounts being good. Same for the mid shaft housing. Bolt it in and see how the motor lines up to it. It'll very likely be the same mid shaft as what's in almost if not all of their 2 stroke skis. The only difference being that adapter plate to accommodate the longer prop shafts. The pump housing is also very likely going to work.

As far as looking at the diagrams, the mounts look like they're identical so it could just be an updated part for the Raider, slightly different rubber compound or bond between the mount hardware and rubber.

The pump housing has only one difference in the diagram, one pump has locating dowels and the other does not.

The difference on the mid shaft that I'm seeing is on the Raider diagram it looks like it'll have additional pockets for the locating dowels since the adapter plate has 5 locating pockets. Otherwise it all looks identical.

you can likely use the Raider parts in the Blaster, but you may need to make small adjustments, especially around mounting and alignment. If you’re using the Raider midshaft bearing and pump housing, just confirm that everything bolts up and aligns properly in the Blaster hull.

The driveshaft lengths are different, 33-3/4" vs 28-3/4". They can be swapped in the stator housings without issue. The motor mounts are different. Raiders use the typical "couch" mounts and have an angle to them. Waveblaster mounts don't have that angle and are special to waveblaster, waveblaster 2, and fx1 hulls. The midshaft housings are the same, different length midshafts.
